The company was founded within the IPLAB (Image Processing LAB) research group which actively operates in the field of image processing and multimedia content. Following numerous successes both in the academic and forensic fields and thanks to the numerous collaborations obtained within the university laboratory, in the summer of 2016, it was decided to found iCTLab as a spin-off of the University of Catania. ICTLab's mission is to change the forensic world through continuous training and dissemination of scientific investigation techniques based on the best international best practices and the latest technologies. ICTLab's commitment also consists in a significant investment in the field of academic research.
