LOGE Deutschland GmbH was founded in Cottbus in 2007. It is a 100 % subsidiary of the Swedish LOGE AB, which was founded in 2005. LOGE AB is headquartered at the IDEON Science Park in Lund, Sweden. Since 2019, there has been another LOGE subsidiary in Poland in addition to the GmbH. LOGE specialises in the development of software for the calculation of complex chemical processes and operates as an industrial consultant. A particular focus is on the simulation of combustion processes. Here, the tools of the LOGE family contribute to a better understanding and optimisation of combustion processes. Tools for the development and reduction of chemical reaction mechanisms and for the creation of tables for combustion models based on tabulated chemistry are also used. However, the applications of LOGE are not limited to the simulation of combustion processes. It is also possible to model the entire exhaust gas after treatment. This makes it possible to optimise the exhaust gas filters and catalytic converters used with regard to the applicable legal exhaust gas limits. Another area of application for LOGE products is the chemical industry. Here, the software can be used to model chemical reactors, for example, power-to-X processes can be simulated. LOGE regularly has trainees and supervises final theses. Here, the focus can be on a selected industrial customer project, on the investigation of new fuels, exhaust gas after treatment systems or chemical reactors, as well as on the programming side implementation in software code.
