Natural compounds from agro-food waste for nutraceutical application

Abstract

The optimal extraction condition for maximum recovery of polyphenols and other compounds will be obtained with green extraction methodology performing model validation (response surface methodology (RSM) with a Box-Behnken experimental design (BBD). The extracts will be evaluated for their antioxidant activity and their potential role in managing type 2diabetes and obesity
