Name and Surname: Maria Kuznowicz
Field of Study: Chemical Sciences
I have always been passionate about chemistry, particularly its applications in modern technologies. This fascination led me to pursue both undergraduate and doctoral studies, where I focused on nanomaterials—exploring their properties and potential in various fields. My research has concentrated on the use of nanomaterials in biosensors and electrochemical sensors, which play a significant role in biomedical diagnostics.
My research internship in Catania as a member of EUNICE was a pivotal point in my professional development. Working within an international team and participating in numerous events organised by EUNICE allowed me to broaden my scientific perspective and establish valuable connections with researchers from across Europe. This experience not only enriched my knowledge in advanced technologies but also exposed me to diverse approaches to research.
Today, as an experienced researcher, I continue to explore the potential applications of nanomaterials in biomedical diagnostics. The future of this field is full of challenges and opportunities, and I eagerly look forward to the next steps in my scientific journey, striving for innovative solutions that may revolutionize medicine.
