Research Topic
Abstract
The research activities will be focused on the development and characterization of nanomaterial-based systems functionalized with antimicrobial peptides. In particular, it involves:
- synthesis of gold, palladium, and graphene oxide nanoparticles functionalized with peptides,
- physicochemical characterization and analysis of the obtained nanosystems,
- biological studies evaluating the cellular response of the synthesized nanostructures.
