Sustainable photocatalysis for environmental protection and energy production

Abstract

The research aims to identify sustainable photocatalysts able to harness solar energy in order to drive chemical reactions, directly converting sunlight into storable chemical fuels like green hydrogen or converting carbon dioxide into value-added hydrocarbons. This provide a carbon-neutral alternative to fossil fuels by mimicking natural photosynthesis.
