Development of inorganic nanostructured materials for biomedical applications

Research Topic
Abstract
Chemical synthesis and physio-chemical characterization of luminescent and photothermal inorganic nanostructured materials. The nanosystems will be characterized by optical absorption spectroscopy, fluorescence emission, dynamic light scattering and Zeta potential techniques. The photothermal conversion efficiency yield will be measured. In vitro-experiments with human cells line will be performed to evaluate biocompativbility and hypertehrmia effect upon photoexcitation.
