Abstract
This thesis internship focuses on bioinspired wet chemistry methods to synthesize plasmonic metal nanoparticles (Au, Ag, Pd) with tunable size, shape, and surface chemistry. The nanoparticles will be characterized using spectroscopic and microscopic techniques. The project includes testing their biological activity through cell-based assays. Applications span theranostics, environmental sensing, and sustainable energy. Ideal for students interested in green nanotechnology and multifunctional materials.
