Overproduction of Lactate by engineered S. cerevisiae

Research theses
Abstract

In this proposal, we want to analyses of genome-scale metabolic networks for the overproduction of Lactate by engineered S. cerevisiae.

The Biological Design Automation Framework that we want to design and use is constitutes by I) pre-processing algorithms (sensitivity analysis of the model(s) and characterization of the medium/media), II) constrained multi-objective optimization (the nominal design), and III) post-processing (design-for-yield and design-for-manufacturability).
