Robotic systems for waste picking

Abstract

At DIEEI an innovative robotic system for garbage collection in beaches has been developed. In the thesis new strategies for the automatic recognition and picking of the objects will be developed. further analysis will concern the automatic generation of obstacle avoidance trajectories and the planning of activities for the system.
