Syracuse Academy (www.syracuseacademy.org), providing academic opportunities in Sicily for North American universities and colleges, with a particular focus on Sustainability studies and Mediterranean studies; partner institutions for semester and summer programs in Sicily include University of California, University of Minnesota and others.

Phaos is a Social Cooperative Enterprise based in Kalamata, Greece, established in 2017. It aims to promote social innovation, entrepreneurship, and civic engagement in the Peloponnese region. Phaos operates House by Phaos – a multi-purpose community space – and Officium, a coworking hub that supports young professionals, startups, and social initiatives. The organization also runs Messinian Business Routes, a program that empowers local entrepreneurs through mentoring, training, and networking. Phaos fosters collaboration, inclusion, and sustainable development at the local level.

The Viseu Dão Lafões Intermunicipal Community is a regional government organization, formed by 14 municipalities of the center region of Portugal.

It aims to promote the balanced and sustainable development of its intervention territory, based on regional strategic planning and support for local authorities.

The Viseu City Council is the collegiate executive body of the municipality, made up of a president and eight councillors, one of whom is designated as vice-president.

The City Council has the material and operational powers provided for in Law No. 75/2013, of 12 September, which establishes the legal regime of local authorities.
