Rail Vehicles Center of the Łukasiewicz- Poznan Institute of Technology in its scope of activities includes works done by the Rail Vehicle Development Research Group, the Electrical Systems Research Group, the Prototype Research Group, and the Rail Vehicles Laboratory. Scientific research and development works in the field of Rail Vehicles mainly concern research, development and innovative works focusing on new and modernized rolling stock.

4D Engineering srl (www.4d-eng.eu) was born in 2004 from the intuition of Mr. Rossano Schiavoni and Mr. Alessandro Brunetti. It is a service company that supports customers in the design and development of products. The core business of 4D Engineering is mechanical engineering, which is applied to the most disparate sectors of the market. Today 4D is one of the most important mechanical engineering companies in central Italy and probably the number one in the Marche region. 4D develops projects both at its own site and with customers using the "body rental" system.

The SERVICE Company aims to offer in the plant engineering field an exhaustive engineering service for the multiple needs of the Client and aimed at obtaining "Global Quality". SWIATEK Company was founded in 1978, in Bydgoszcz. Today it's a family buisness with over 30 employees. It realizes few research and development projects in cooperation with Poznan University of Technology. On the market, the company is mainly engaged in three product groups. Firstly it's a manufacturer of "VAXELL" aircraft engines for ultralight and microlight aircrafts. Secondly it produces different types of dynamometers and testing stands for various vehicles (motorcycles, cars, engines etc.). Finally company produces camshafts in low serial production, form 1 do 1000 pieces.
