Preparation and characterization of nanomedicine for brain delivery

Abstract
The project deals on the development of polymeric nanoparticles obtained through different preparation methods and follow a quality by design approach to define independent and dependent variables for the optimization of the formulation for the selected aim. Our team have developed nanoparticles loaded with natural compounds, fluorescent dye, synthetic molecules and peptides for the brain target using intranasal administration. Our laboratory will support the research project through different equipment such as: Nanosizer, Turbiscan AGS, Differential Scanning Calorimetry, Spectrofluorimetric and Spectrophotometric studies to determine the percent of the drug in the encapsulation efficiency, drug release profile in physiologic conditions. We will carry out stability studies on optimized nanomedicine as required by international guidelines.
