Abstract
The research activities will be oriented to the development of AI algorithms applied to robotic architectures with the aim to optimize robot performance in the real environment. Primary importance will be devoted to scene understanding and decision making in front of potentially conflicting scenarios, to optimize visually guided navigation tasks. The strategies developed will be demonstrated through pilot and use cases in simulations and in real experiments. The required competencies are in applications of robotics and in the adoption of AI techniques for robotics.
