Industry 4.0: The impact of automation and Artificial intelligence on employment from a gender perspective

Abstract

The aim is to analyse the impact of AI and automation on employment from a gender perspective. To this end, I will study the different approaches (occupational, task, etc.) that the most specialized doctrine has followed and I will try to generate new empirical evidence to present a realistic and hopeful vision of the future of employment. Issues such as the treatment of digitization in collective bargaining, telework, the use of technological tools to measure the performance and commitment of workers (and the violation of privacy that this entails), will be addressed. The dehumanization of humans will be criticized with the arrival of certain technologies and the dangerous power that certain technological elites have, which will hardly act in favor of the worker.
