AEGEE, in full the Association des Etats Généraux des Etudiants de l'Europe, is one of the largest interdisciplinary student associations in Europe. It is a non-governmental organization recognized by the European Union with the role of permanent observer to the Council of Europe. In addition, the LWG, together with its subsidiary BRAIN, is active in the renaturation of the Lusatian mining region.
